Justin Chen, JD/MS
Mr. Chen is the co-founder of Starvax Inc. and has served as its
CEO since its inception. Prior to that, he is the founder and
managing director of PacGate Law Group, a silicon valley based
law firm with a primary focus on providing legal services relating
to cross-border business transactions between the US and China.
Prior to this, Mr. Chen was a partner at Intellectual Property
Law Group LLP, a silicon valley based law firm specializing in
Intellectual property and trademark. Mr. Chen has also served
on the board of many not-for-profit organizations, such as the
Hua Yuan Science and Technology Association, Peking University
Alumni Association.
President/CSO, Yiyou Chen, Ph.D.
Dr. Chen is the co-founder of Starvax Inc., and is responsible
for the overall scientific direction of the company. Before founding
Starvax Inc., Dr. Chen was a senior scientist at Genencor International
Inc., a large US biotech company with over 380 million dollar
revenue each year. He has conducted research on a variety of projects,
including immunotherapeutics, protein engineering, and transgenic
mouse model. Dr. Chen has served as a co-project leader for the
immunotherapeutic program covering HBV and HPV. The program was
later sold to Innogenics for 90 million US dollars. Prior to joining
Genencor, Dr. Chen was a postdoctoral fellow at University of
Utah Department of Pathology, conducting research on the functions
of Pactolus, a gene he discovered in 1997.
CBO, Y. Alex Wu, Ph.D., MBA
Dr. Wu was most recently an Associate at Burrill & Company,
one of the world's premium life sciences merchant banks with over
$500 million under management for venture capital investments,
responsible for the company's business activities in Asia, including
strategy formulation, fund raising, venture capital investments,
and strategic partnering. Prior to that, He worked for Hoffmann-La
Roche, a Swiss pharmaceutical company, as Manager of Business
Development and Strategic Planning. He was involved in product
in-licensing, co-development and co-promotion, and to a lesser
degree, product out-licensing with experience in analyzing, negotiating
and executing strategic alliances and joint-ventures. He also
participated in formulating Roche's 5-year strategic plan. As
an entrepreneur, he was involved in a series of start-ups, one
of which was Unimicro Technologies, Inc., a bio-analytical instrumentation
company in California. As its Chief Operating Officer, Alex was
in charge of the company's overall business strategy and daily
operations, including fund-raising, marketing and sales, business
development and finance. He also helped to establish a joint-venture
in Shanghai, China.

of Operation, Felix Lin
Mr. Lin was most recently Director of International Marketing
at Daan Gene Ltd of Sun Yet-San University, a public-listed biotech
company in China. He was in charge of international filing and
marketing of the company's products. Prior to that, Mr. Lin was
the General Manager at Shenzhen Inkelong Electronics Corporation,
a manufacturer of consumer electronic products. He was responsible
for overseeing company's daily operation as well as outside relationship
with vendors and customers. Mr. Lin has a Bachelor's degree in
biochemistry for Peking University in 1992.
